Our Story
Once upon a time, there was a beautiful princess named Serenity who lived in Austin, Texas. One day, she received a mysterious message from afar via carrier pigeon (or…. a random connection on a “traditional dating app” called LinkedIn) from a mutual industry acquaintance named Aaron in a land far far away, called “Florida”. He claimed to make “title insurance cool”. Mutually intrigued by each other’s profiles and skillsets they connected via message, then call, then ultimately face to face in January of 2020. They collaborated together on a project via whiteboard, then emails, text and calls. But soon they realized….there seemed to be a little more interest here than just work. So they decided they should go out on a date. Serenity and Aaron were finally set to meet in March.
Little did our fairy tale couple know, the world had other plans, and soon, a plague was cast upon the Earth (obviously in an attempt to disrupt our fairy tale couple). They had to delay their first date for several months as this dark plague they called “The Pandemic” canceled everything from sports, to school, to work, and much more. But Serenity and Aaron still talked, and texted, and longed for the day when they could meet again face to face.
Finally, that opportunity arrived, and Serenity invited Aaron to come to Austin for the two to go on that long awaited first date. So Aaron found the fastest steed he could, a silver winged horse named “American Airlines”, and came to the land of Texas to meet his princess face to face….and test the theory on “True Love’s First Kiss”. Their date was magical, and the first kiss even more so.
Days, weeks, months, then years went on, and our couple went on countless dates and whirlwind trips across the land. From Anna Maria Island, Park City Utah, & Telluride to Napa Valley and beyond. They (Aaron) loved Napa (and wine) so much, that when the day came for Aaron to ask the Princess Serenity to marry him, he did so in Napa, atop a majestic mountain, overlooking a breathtaking valley, at Quintessa Castle (winery).
So now, through plagues, through snowstorms, trials and tribulations, their love has lasted and flourished. They’ve decided to spend their lives together, they’ve bought their own castle together and live together in Austin. Their kids, friends, and families have met and become a part of each other’s lives. Which leads us back here, in the far far away land of “California”, in the wine country of Sonoma (just down the road from Napa), atop a cliff, overlooking the sea. There is not a more picturesque place in the land for Serenity and Aaron, joined by their kids Aiden and Jackson, Ethan and Emma, in front of you, their family and friends, to witness our fairy tale couple unite in marriage, and celebrate their “Happily Ever After”.
